Hillsboro Hollands - Breeding & Culling
Holland Lop breeding cannot be discussed without culling.  Culling is critical to the success of
a rabbitry that wants to compete at rabbit shows.  Without effective culling the chances of
success on the show table are dim.  

In our rabbitry, culling means finding good pet homes for the Hollands that are not show
quality.  There are plenty of families who want a friendly pet rabbit.  We have been able to find
great homes for the Hollands that don't meet our show quality standards.  

The culling process can be complicated with Hollands.  It takes time to learn how to cull
Hollands.  In order to help with this process, we have listed links below that discuss culling.
Breeding Holland Lops is very challenging.  However, it is also
one of the most rewarding parts of working with Hollands.  Who
can resist a baby Holland?  The best advice I can give is
persistence.  Never give up!
